Lego League a wonderful, age-appropriate way to introduce children to coding! They learn basic coding skills, team work, public speaking and presentation skills and confidence in their own abilities. This team is open to all children aged 6-12; both Al Hadi students and non students, boys and girls (in fact, a majority of our current team is girls!).
We are seeking sponsors who can support the Al Hadi Lego League Team to make it all the way to the Championships! Please message shahryar@alhadi.school for sponsorship opportunities.

Al-Hadi offers coding to its students in multiple ways. For older kids, there is FIRST Lego League, which runs through the fall. The kids all work on making a project for a theme and then presenting at Expos.

After Lego League runs, there's continued coding lessons offered through the spring in different ways. For the oldest kids, they will move onto Apple Swift and learn coding off of an iPad. While the younger kids will continue with Lego WeDo's coding curriculum.

Al-Hadi even offers coding for its youngest kids via FLL Discover, which is an early Duplo-based program that introduces very early fundamentals to prep them for coding.
