Al Hadi's educational coaches provide mentorship and support as you chart your way through your homeschool journey with your children. Latifa Barnett, M.Ed. a veteran homeschooling parent herself, has years of experience coaching parents and educators alike. Whether you are new homeschooling, a seasoned homeschooling parent, or somewhere in between - our educational coach will seek to build a relationship with you so that you may be successful in your homeschooling journey.
Legal status
Al Hadi Education Center is a nonpublic school entity registered with the Maryland State Department of Education to supervise home instruction of Maryland students. In Maryland, an organization that provides supervision of home instruction is also known as a homeschool umbrella.

Membership Requirements
To become a member of our Homeschool Umbrella, your child must be a resident of Maryland. We accept families with children in K-12th grade. You may choose to follow the homeschool approach and curriculum that best aligns with your family's goal and mission. Our Homeschool Umbrella aligns with Maryland's COMAR 13A.10.01.01 regulations for home instruction. To view Maryland's regulations around home instruction, click here.
Enrollment
An orientation session is provided during the Fall, at the start of the traditional school year. However, we accept families on a rolling basis. For questions about the homeschool umbrella, please email info@alhadi.school
